По данным интернет газеты mk.ru стало известно, что попавший под санкции «Еврофинанс Моснарбанк» сообщил о блокировке карт не только за границей, но и на территории РФ. Карты Visa в ближайшее время будут заменены на карты «Мир». Официальной информации о том, как в такой ситуации быть держателям карт Mastercard, пока нет.
Visa и Mastercard приостановили членство попавшего под американские санкции «Еврофинанс Моснарбанка» в платежных системах, что повлекло за собой блокировку карт не только за границей, о чём заранее предупреждали эксперты, но и в России.
Речь, в частности, идёт и об ограничении в приёме карт в устройствах банка, сообщили 13 марта представители кредитной организации.
Ранее в среду стало известно о том, что Палата представителей Конгресса США одобрила ряд антироссийских документов.
«Еврофинанс Моснарбанк» на 49,99% принадлежит государственному венесуэльскому фонду национального развития Fonden S.A., по 25% плюс 1 акцией владеют Газпромбанк и ВТБ. 11 марта США включили его в санкционный список из-за ситуации в Венесуэле. Банк обвиняют в поддержке режима президента Венесуэлы Николаса Мадуро и содействии экономическому краху и гуманитарному кризису, «от которых страдает народ Венесуэлы».
В пресс-службе кредитной организации поспешили успокоить клиентов, сообщив им, что карты Visa в ближайшее время будут заменены на карты российской платежной системы «Мир». Официальной информации о том, как в такой ситуации быть держателям карт Mastercard, пока нет.
